Diverse formulations for effective veterinary medicines are developed in a new functional, clear laboratory environment

A ‘complete package’ of laboratory furniture was the brief from veterinary pharmaceutical supplier CP-Pharma, which we received via our partner VWR. A modern development laboratory was to be set up on an area of around 150 square metres – and, as requested, everything was to be supplied and installed from a single source. As well as the highlight of an easily accessible HPLC workstation, the requirements focused on a safe space for experimentation with appropriate fume cupboards, clearly laid out workbenches and sufficient storage capacity for solvents. Due to the geographical distance between the two companies, the customer was able to see the quality and design for themselves during a visit to the Köttermann showroom. CP-Pharma appreciates not only the functional aesthetics of the new laboratory, but also the simplified handling of the HPLC cabinet – the solvent waste collection directly underneath the workstation eliminates the need for cumbersome removal, and the safety cabinets directly behind it provide the required solutions in no time at all. In the new laboratory, new methods can be developed and formulations tailored to the highest standards for effective medical animal care.
